The cottage, completed in 2003, is built on a working croft and has a small number of beef cattle and sheep.
A large part of the croft land has recently been planted with some 65000 plus native trees, Birch, Alder, Willow, Rowan and Scots Pine. A selection of these trees is planted directly to the rear of the house.

The cottage is situated overlooking Portree, the largest village in Skye and Lochalsh with all rooms offering unhindered panoramic views of the Cuillin ranges, Ben Tianavaig and across to Dun Caan and the Isle of Raasay.

Located 2 miles from Portree, well equipped and comfortable we offer a perfect base for walking, touring, fishing bird watching or just relaxing.
The entire downstairs of the cottage is completely adapted for wheelchair users. The bathroom is equipped with a level entry shower and all suitable aids, while the spacious bedroom offers twin single beds. A low level ramp provides easy access and the car park is immediately adjacent to the cottage.
